It is scientifically proven that being kind to others boosts your happiness and health levels; it also creates significant joy in the people that you that are kind to. Imagine for a moment that if half of the world's population (3.5+ billion people) decided to be kind, the world would certainly become a better place to live in.

There is always someone who needs a touch of kindness, and you can be that person starting today. Remember that kindness is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of strength. #BestAdvice

Kindness is something that has no parallel.... the more you are, the more your values become a better part of you...

Very good points, Ivette about the unquestionable importance of showing kindness. Many times it's not that we lack kindness, we just don't think to "extend" kindness. Whether we're busy or afraid to speak up, it takes effort. Kind of reminds me of the post I put up yesterday on Pulse.

A simple act of kindness can echo far after it is done and it often costs nothing. Even getting a cashier or waitress to laugh when they're having a rough day is well worth the effort. I've found a few pieces of chocolate can brighten the day of many who need a boost in the day to day struggles we all face.
