Being Independent Shouldn’t Mean Being Alone

In a previous post, we outlined the difficulties of starting and running your own RIA all of which multiply when you bring more employees on board. When you start to research starting your own RIA, you might decide all of the hoop-jumping isn’t worth it. But the fact remains, for reasons of your own, you wanted to become independent.

When we started our firm, our focus was on helping advisors run their compliance which is arguably the most complex and time-consuming part of having an independent RIA and managing their risk. We wanted advisors to focus on what they’re good at, helping their clients achieve their financial goals.

Time went on and more advisors sought their independence with our help. We started noticing additional areas where we could be of help and listening to the feedback from the advisors we were working with. We have evolved to provide advisors with much more than compliance and risk management services.

We offer an entire suite of services that will help advisors transition seamlessly from working for someone else to running their own RIA without compromising the core of their business, working closely with clients.

What Can We Do For You?

The Independent Advisor Alliance fosters a dynamic, supportive environment for independent financial advisors who have a strong drive for success. If you are thinking of starting your own RIA, here’s what I can offer you.

  • Advisor Services: As an IAA advisor, you have exclusive access to a wide range of services including technology training, networking opportunities, best practices coaching, advisor placement services, DBA establishment and marketing, service request resolution, and a virtual administrative assistant so you can take your practice to the next level.
