Being a Heroe

Being a Heroe

Ladies and gentlemen, it is with humbleness of the heart and spirit that I want to recognize men and women of the ages who have stood their grounds with a view of uplifting workmanship. It is during such times that various stakeholders in different fields of human engagement are pinpointed and accorded a thumbs up. The celebrations of such persons are encoded in the premier calendar of Mashujaa Day Celebration, particularly in Kenya. It is worth noting that a good fraction of them have been neglected and left to wallow in abject poverty. It is disappointing if all the time we will be called a people who bits the hand that feeds us. History has demonstrated over ages that, when you walk around the world and you fail to meet or see a good man, then you ought to be one. The latter is emphasized by the Golden Rule that states, do Unto others as you want them Do Unto you. it is evident that the underpinnings of the locus standi has been aborted and left to rot in the shackles of despondent history. Where on earth does one de-praise the tail that wags him? It is ironical and an abuse to intellectual astuteness if every year, the sweat of the common mwananchi will be periodically used to stage celebrations which does not impact the families and communities where such heroes emanated from.

In this regard, it is with pleasure that with the powers bestowed to me by my fellow members of the union, I would wish to acknowledge in a special way recognize all members of the universe who have contributed either directly or indirectly towards ensuring that we have a peaceful environment that we are in today. special thanks goes to the freedom fighters and selfless men and women who have gone out of their way to lighten up the souls of their brothers and sisters despite the challenging situation in the postmodern era.

My lovely parents, friends. associates, fellows, partners and relatives, happy 2018 Mashujaa day. You are my heroes, I celebrate you.
