Being grateful for the journey while embracing change! ??

As the warm light of the setting sun gently caressed my face in the photo above, I find myself in the bittersweet process of bidding farewell to 国际助残 after an awe-inspiring journey of over seven remarkable years and five diverse positions. On a personal level, this moment carries a weight of mixed emotions, as I reflect upon the incredible experiences that have shaped my time here. It is with utmost sincerity that I wish to express my gratitude to each and every one of you, for your invaluable contributions in making this journey truly meaningful & unforgettable. ?? ??

My journey at HI has been a mix of ups and downs, filled with challenges and victories, laughter and emotions. But above all, it has been a journey of forging friendships and deep bonds with the communities I've had the privilege to work with. It's in these moments, when they open up and share their stories of courage and hope, that I truly grasp the value of these experiences. They are moments I will hold dear and cherish forever! ??

I am immensely grateful for the powerful mission of this organization and the leadership provided by the management team. To be fully transparent and honest, they have enabled me to discover the passion and abilities that lie within me. From simply taking a picture to designing outreach activities, collaborating with stakeholders for advocacy and impact amplification, building synergy, and writing and sharing untold stories from the communities who experience vulnerability and exclusion, HI has provided me with an incredible platform to make a meaningful difference both for the community and for my own personal growth. ??

While some of my incredibly awesome mentors and bosses have already moved on from HI, I remain grateful for the opportunity to work with exceptional individuals like Willy Bergogne , Sudarshan Neupane , Reiza Dejito , Raju Palanchoke and most recently, Pauline NADIM , who have been an integral part of my journey. The memories I've created with my dedicated colleagues from all the National Associations and the programs will forever hold a special place in my heart. The strong bonds I have formed with the partners and the communities, particularly the beneficiaries of rehabilitation, inclusive education, livelihood, and emergency response, from across the region, will never fade in my professional journey! ??

Finding the courage to seek out another job can be challenging, and finding the most suitable fit can be the toughest part. However, I firmly believe in embracing change as it opens new doors to new opportunities and personal growth.
