Being an effective leader, what does it mean?

It is well known that true and good leaders are often associated with role models, and this is because they meet a series of qualities necessary for the achievement of goals. A person capable of being a leader influences and motivates all members of an organization to work in an enthusiastic and focused way since they make them to stop seeing the goal as something alien and make it part of their own vision. To do this, an effective leader uses certain important characteristics and skills, such as: being honest, charismatic, open to new ideas, good listener, responsible and committed, among many other things. 

Although there are different types of leaders, the base is the same, leaders know that their leadership gives them power, but a true one uses that power for the benefit of all.
