Have you been downsized recently? Are you sulking? I know you are, because I was, after being downsized from my corporate job after 14+years. But let me tell you, there IS a reason to celebrate. There IS life after corporate America, so let's celebrate that!?
What is the Next Chapter of Your Story?
Now that you have recently been downsized, you have a very unique opportunity. You get to decide what the next chapter is in your story. Are you going to go back to work in Corporate America and maybe make the same amount of money that you were making before?? Maybe you won't get downsized again in another couple of years. Or, do you create your own opportunities, build your own ladder to success, take control of your professional life and become your own boss?
If you decide to take matters into your own hands and become your own boss there are a few ways you can do that. You can start from scratch, but that's hard, because if you have never owned your own business, you just don’t know what you don’t know. ? You will need to build all the systems and processes of how to operate your new business, and that can be overwhelming.? You can also look at buying an existing business and hope that you can continue to run it successfully like the previous owners. Or, there's franchise ownership.

Franchise Ownership is the Best of Both Worlds
I have a friend who introduced me to franchising and told me about franchise ownership as a path to business ownership.? When Merri came to me and asked, “Have you ever considered franchise ownership? I hadn’t.? In fact, I knew very little about the franchise industry.? What I quickly learned was that franchise ownership is the best of two worlds. You get the training and the support that you would get from a corporate job, but you also get the independence and the freedom of business ownership. Basically, you’re in business for yourself, not by yourself.
Franchise ownership can lead to great success without a limit to how much money you can make.? That means no more “glass ceilings†on your salary. You can grow your business as big or as small as you like.? You are able to spend time with your family, have more flexibility in your schedule and do the things that you like, all while you are running your own business. Plus you don’t have to figure everything out yourself and wonder if the systems and processes will work because the franchises have already tried and proven their systems.?
If you're interested in learning more about how you can look into franchise options, and whether or not franchise ownership is for you, message me,? I would be happy to talk to you about what your options are.
