Being breast cancer awareness month it is my duty to remind you to FEEL YOURSELF UP AGAIN!

It seems so apropos to publish this again. Partially due to it being breast cancer awareness month but more importantly because I know I have saved at least one life. A fellow professional that works with my husband had sent me a gift during my journey. I don't think I sent many thank you's due to being preoccupied but for whatever reason she got one. Hand written... and I just happen to through in a copy of one of my newspaper stories about my journey. This prompted her to take some action which lead to her breast cancer discovery so please...do not rely on mammogram alone! After my journey of a double masectomy, hyperbaric oxygen chambers and many tears i can say my prognosis is excellent thanks to early detection!
