Holiday Greetings From START UP! Art Therapy...
I wanted to reach out and personally acknowledge that this is a difficult time for many for not only is the holiday season upon is and can be painful reminders of the past, or present, but also we are in a time of global struggle and many are displaced due to war or natural disasters or poverty and inflation, not to mention the recent politics in America, which have many experiencing, what I call, "political trauma."
And then there's the UAP (UFO) disclosure ...
...Not to remind you of all the craziness.... but just to name that there is a lot going on throughout the world at this time in history...
There is a cumulative energy that comes with this, and as energetic beings we can feel this energy whether it is conscious or subconscious.
We are conditioned as a society that this should be a time of joy and that we should be surrounded by loved ones, but for many, who experience feelings of loneliness, despair and isolation, thinking that we should be doing and feeling all these things that have been programmed into us when that is not your reality, can produce feelings of shame that something may be "wrong with you."
New science shows that being alone is actually sometimes BETTER for you than being in relationship or proximity with others...
New science shows that being alone is actually sometimes BETTER for you than being in relationship or proximity with others... in the science of quantum physics, being alone allows you to feel your own energetic field and have complete control of your own emotional regulation rather than constantly having to attune your emotions to those of others.
New research shows that when you are alone your neural networks begin to fire in perfect synchronicity, what Dr. Joe Dispenza calls "energetic coherence." By being alone is stepping into true emotional and biological independence requires bravery and mastery over the emotion of loneliness, and is shown to enhance neural integration, higher thinking, and advanced emotional regulation, as well as, higher activity within prefrontal cortex.
The new science of being alone and mastering solitude is what neuroscientists refer to as introspective neural processing.
The brain doesn't know the difference between fantasy and reality. You possess all the neurochemicals to produce any state you wish- even a state of joy and love that you may looking outside yourself to receive.
START UP! Art Therapy is Neurodevelopmental Art therapy.... offers a creative and transformative way to combat loneliness or adversity by rewiring the brain for optimal well being by engaging self-directed neuroplasticity... and fostering connection with oneself, which is the most important relationship you will ever have...
You don’t need to be a skilled artist to benefit—it's about the process, not the product. Creating art intentionally allows you to not only express feelings, but also elicit certain feel-good neurochemicals that can create the very emotional state of mind that you are wanting to experience.
