Ali - I started with GRACE about a month ago as a Bridal Stylist in the Dallas Showroom! I fall more in love with this company everyday and cannot wait to continue my career journey with Grace Loves Lace!

If you could describe yourself in 3 words or less, what would they be?

Creative, understanding and adventurous!

What's one thing most people don't know about you?

I was a cheerleader for over 10 years!

Tell us about your favourite memory at GRACE

My favourite memory at Grace Loves Lace this far was being able to talk to our founder, Megan Ziems, and head designer, Rosie Keating! I have been a fan of Grace Loves Lace for years and have always admired the craftsmanship, values, aesthetic and design of the company. To be able to meet the creative minds that are at the centre of our brand was INCREDIBLE and so inspiring!

What inspires you about coming to work at GRACE?

Being a cheerleader for women of all backgrounds is what inspires me the most about coming to work for Grace Loves Lace. It is such an empowering and uplifting atmosphere and to be apart of someone’s special day is extraordinary.

What is your favourite thing about working in your Showroom/Office location?

I LOVE my Dallas team SO much! They are my favourite thing about the showroom and my location and make coming to work feel like home!

What's one thing that surprised you about working at GRACE?

I think how much the company actually cares and values their employees was the most surprising. The brand goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of and most importantly, empowered, which I think is super important in any type of work environment.

What is your favourite GRACE gown?

It is difficult to choose just one, so my top three are PALOMA, LOYOLA and NATHALIA.

What do you consider your secret weapon at work?

My adaptability! Being able to connect with all walks of life and understanding other comes most easy to me.

As a stylist, what is your top trick to make a sale?

Accessorise! It is a completely different vibe when you put on a veil, some anklets, and earrings versus only being in the dress. It completes the look and gets the bride more excited about the dress and her wedding since she can visualise it right there in our showroom!

Do you have any advice for Brides-to-be?

My advice for brides to be is to be open-minded and to research! It is never too early to start figuring out your vibe and aesthetic for how you want to be presented on your wedding day! Be decisive with what you like versus what you don’t, and remember, there are a lot of beautiful dresses, but there will be only one dress that speaks to you.

How do you unwind after work?

I like to watch Netflix and relax with my five cuddly cats after work!

What fashion trend do you hope one day makes a comeback?

I hope street style becomes a more popular idea instead of athletic wear being the ‘everyday’ style. I am dying to see some more fashion moments at Target!!

What's your favourite holiday destination?

30A in Florida! I used to go to those beaches every summer with my family and it always brings me a nostalgic vibe.
