The purpose of the trip was to understand whether Community-Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) is an effective policy through which to ensure that local communities benefit from wildlife tourism. Our discussions were fascinating. A huge thank you also to all those who gave of their time and expertise in talking to us. In the space of 12 days, we gathered an enormous amount of information from across the breadth and length of this beautiful country (in which I was born).

9 年Fascinating report Ross, thanks for posting. I hope that a sustainable & beneficial collaboration of sorts is worked out soon between partners and trusts so that Mbiroba camp is re-established as it sounds like the kind of camp that I would really enjoy time at.
