Why did I Volunteer?
I volunteered to give back to the community while expanding my skills and professional network. Volunteering allows me to support causes I care about and contribute meaningfully, especially in project management and community outreach. It also provides an opportunity to learn from others and grow personally and professionally.
More About Me:
I am a dedicated family man with a beautiful wife and two amazing daughters, ages 2 and 4. Professionally, I have over 10 years of experience in retail banking and project management, with a passion for transitioning into the technology sector.I currently work in the construction and consulting industry, focusing on program management, permitting, and community outreach.I hold certifications such as PMP and am pursuing my PMI-ACP while exploring Fintech opportunities.
My Role As A Volunteer:
As a volunteer, I serve as the Assistant Vice President of Finance at the PMI South Florida Chapter. My responsibilities include managing financial reports, supporting budgeting efforts, and assisting with chapter initiatives. I also engage with members to help drive the Chapter's goals and enhance the overall member experience.
