What is the first thing that pops into your head when you think of digitec Galaxus?

It is not easy to name only one factor. I must admit that I am pretty nostalgic when it comes to the old office, good old times when there were not more than twenty of us and that strong sense of community kept us close and that feeling of belonging is still present today, which especially makes me happy. I felt safe.

You get a gift voucher in the amount of CHF 1000 on our platform; what is the first thing you buy?

I would buy obscure things, that’s for sure. Specifically, the things that I absolutely don’t need, since I have the voucher, that is the right moment to spend on things that I otherwise wouldn’t buy. Back in the day, there was a golden dildo with CHF 8000 price tag, sprinkled with 24k gold, that would serve as a status symbol in my home, "bow before me you peasants style". I remember a PC as well, though we had a promotion back then that whoever buys it, that money is donated to charity. There was one customer who made the order but it was canceled soon after. It was probably a drunk purchase or a practical joke. I would most certainly buy clothes because there are some really cool options and sweets as well. I dare not to miss this spectacular opportunity to buy a swiss watch, but I most certainly wouldn’t buy consumer electronics – couldn’t care less, which I know sounds strange given that I work at DIGITEC. ??

What are the values of our company that you appreciate the most? Which one describes you the best?

I am best described by ambizioniert. Never satisfied with the current state of affairs, I always strive towards pushing my limits and I am self-aware enough to know what I can and can’t do. My path in the company is reflected in that famous quote faster, stronger, better and that is my ideal all these years, pun not intended hahaha.

What was your favourite day in our company?

There are a lot of them. The one that stands out was our first trip in 2018 to Vrdnik where we stayed for one night and one of our colleagues had a few, to put it mildly, and he made a mess out of our room due to excessive consumption of alcohol. Revenge was, of course, mandatory so we told him the day after that he hit on one of our new female colleagues which never happened and the speed of consolidation and group planning amazed me. In a matter of seconds, ten of us, alongside with mentioned female colleague in unison performed Jedi mind tricks on the confused colleague while he was apologizing to her with all vocabulary that he had. When we revealed this clever conspiracy to him, he was fascinated by teamwork and quickness of reaction. Good times.

What is the hardest in your job?

I hate repetitive and monotonous assignments. What bores me the most are unnecessary meetings and I always tend to do something via e-mail if possible, why spend time on endless talking.

What day is it today and why?

Is this an intelligence test? Ahahhaha! Today is Wednesday most certainly because that is the day when I have a team meeting. Wednesday is famous for that.??
