NASA's new director Jared Isaacman, a billionaire, and space enthusiast is tasked with saving NASA from itself: moon mission delays, astronauts stranded in space, and the lack of qualified applicants (uneducated).
Two crew members remain stuck in space and their return date has been moved to late March 2025. NOTE: Some publications use astronauts' total time in space including previous missions.
A Russian cargo ship arrived at ISS smoking and smelling like an electrical fire. NASA took some precautions and then cleared it as not a big problem
Drones are used to calibrate satellite software. The Water Department used “drone swarms” in Colorado for months; when they stopped, they never explained why.
Astronaut Emily Calandrelli became the 100th woman in space. Two decades of training and dedication. Her victory online after she returned to Earth, was marred by a flood of misogynistic, objectifying comments. Misogyny is described as “little man” syndrome, in the article I read.
Space Force turned 5 and even in its infancy it creates over a Billion Dollars a year for the local Colorado Springs economy.
