I have found that in most cases that saying is true. Lets make a case for Google's YouTube.

1) YouTube is worth about $70 billion on its own. That’s a higher value than all but 66 of the companies listed on the S&P 500, according to Bloomberg.

2) What do they make? What do they license and pay for? NOTHING!!!

A Great Crime

3) What is it doing to the music business? Killing it and despite all of the requests to stop using unlicensed music it's only getting worse. Here are the results in one graph (thanks MIC)
