In this edition of "People of PnT," we’re spotlighting Chanyeong Park, a developer who brings both precision and passion to our team. From writing efficient code to collaborating with designers, he's committed to creating the best experience for our users—and finding balance with some exciting hobbies along the way.

Q: How do you think your work impacts the overall user experience and app performance?

A: The way a developer approaches app development can lead to a pleasant and comfortable experience for users or, conversely, an unpleasant one. Therefore, I approach development with the mindset of "What if I were using this app myself?"

Q: What motivates you to write clean and efficient code every day?

A: The code I wrote yesterday always inspires me to write even cleaner and more efficient code. So, I strive to write better code each day than the day before.

Q: What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work?

A: I go climbing on weekends or after work. I’ve joined a climbing crew where I meet various people, and sometimes I go climbing with colleagues from work as well.

Q: How do you collaborate with other teams, like designers or product managers, to ensure smooth app development and release?

A: I strive to develop the best possible outcome within the given timeframe. We collaborate closely, discussing aspects like planning, UX, and UI. I offer feedback on areas that could be improved, and we complement each other to make it all work smoothly.

Q: How do you manage stress when facing tight deadlines or difficult coding challenges?

A: If time permits, I might take half a day off to recharge or meet friends after work. I also relieve stress through climbing. If these methods don’t help, I occasionally go on an unplanned solo trip for a few days. ??
