Behind Closed Doors

Parental alienation is something that most people will never understand because they are not part of “Our Club”. Instead, they choose to believe that WE did something wrong to cause this problem to happen, and our alienator is the true victim.

However, outsiders do not know what goes on behind closed doors. They do not understand the lies, the manipulation, and treachery of an alienator. This is because they have their eyes and ears closed to the truth. If only they could spend one day in our shoes, perhaps, their minds would change. Even many family court judges do not want to rule on factual evidence.

Instead, it is easier to act in a biased fashion and turn a blind eye to the truth. When this occurs, whole families are destroyed, especially our children. They lose half of who they are. Half of who they could become, and half of their heritage. Not including half of the love they could have received. 

Among us (the survivors), we know the truth. We have lived behind closed doors where the secrets of our alienator are kept hidden from the world for fear of them being found out. We can’t remain in the shadows any longer. The truth must be told, and the world must react in a way that makes positive changes for all. 

In the meantime, we must stand and support one another during these difficult times. The day will come when we are rewarded for staying in the battle for the sake of our children.
