Johannesburg, September 2021 – CFA Society South Africa, part of the worldwide network of CFA Institute member societies, announces the agenda and speaker line-up for its virtual annual investment conference to take place on the 4th November 2021.

We are thrilled to announce international headlining speakers: Dr Mark Mobius, former Chairperson of Templeton Emerging Markets Group and widely considered the Founder of Emerging Markets as an asset class who will be joined by Delphine Govender, CFA, Board Member at CFA Society South Africa and Women in Investment Management and Diversity Committee Chair for a fire-side chat discussing Investing in emerging markets and the global market outlook.

Professor Mariana Mazzucato, PhD is Professor in the Economics of Innovation and Public Value at University College London, where she is Founding Director of the UCL Institute for Innovation & Public Purpose (IIPP) world-renowned Economist, bestselling Author and Director of the University College London’s Institute for Innovation & Public Purpose, will discuss and provide insights on 'State-led development' with an Africa-related focus.?

and award-winning author Morgan Housel, partner at The Collaborative Fund and a former columnist at The Motley Fool and The Wall Street Journal. In his presentation Morgan will tackle the psychology of money, sharing four engaging stories that show how we can think about money, risk, and investing in a more productive way that helps audiences make better decisions around one of life's most complicated topics.
