Behaviour in Schools – Ensuring Progress

I thought I would start sharing some of my ideas and those I have gathered over time on Teaching. I have a section on my website for Professional Development of Secondary Teachers. Called "Teach" which is really a work in progress and has a fraction of the content and ideas over my 20 years teaching.

This is the first article I thought I would promote which explores the ideas of how #progress is linked to #behaviour in #schools . It is not based on a whim but on Evidence Based Teaching research factors from #Hatttie. Which point to behaviour as a key factor. It is not an article which is groundbreaking but a useful one to read to remind the experienced people out there when they are on the right track. However, if you are on the right track you can usually feel it, so if you need some help, then use it!

I have got some nice resources links here and if you have to lead an INSET on this in January 2023 for a school where you work at and you have a few issues, please use my PowerPoint and adapt to your needs. Unlike some providers I always try and provide my resources so they can easily be used and edited. If you are being paid to do a January INSET, then maybe you need to make your own PPT!
