Beginnings are always hard—or are they really?
Okay… I don’t expect you to believe that headline.
(I myself don’t actually ??)
Yes, but I do believe that continuing or maintaining what you started takes effort.
Whether it’s a hobby, a task, a job, an interest, or a relationship, the rule remains the same.
Oh, I remember an incident from my days in Bangalore as a student. I am pretty sure you must have done something like this at least once.
The over-pumped motivation
So, this gym near our flat was offering a discount on a 3-month membership fee. Guess what I did?
Exactly. I ended up subscribing to it and paying in advance. Thanks (or no thanks) to my over-motivated soul. (I think it's the deal that prompted me ??)
Anyway, 1 week. Yes! That’s how many times I showed up at the gym. Then, of course, my body needed rest. Didn’t it? Typical excuse.
The guilt of taking a break and wasting money made me turn my head away from the street.
The bottom line??
Don’t depend on motivation. You don't really need it to make your plans work.

Yes. Your plans! Now we are hitting the mark. But what makes your plan turn into attainable action?
Ditch motivation and date this!
Date who?
“Discipline.” Yeah, I know. You've heard it ample times. Hey, but it doesn’t cheat.
Maybe that’s why it comes across as boring in this attention-deficit generation. But trust the doers. You’ll thank yourself for saving you from the regret game.
But where is this conversation taking us? Oh! It’s the ADHD that hit again. ??
Pro tip: “Ensure you have a purpose for your plan.” Or the discipline isn't taking you anywhere.
What’s the purpose?
I don’t know yours, but let me sneak in mine.?
You see, It’s not the first time I’ve tried writing. But my discipline lacked consistency. Argh! ??
So, here’s me trying it fresh. And I won’t mind some support and reminders.
Do subscribe, and I’ll see you around. ??
