The Beginning of the End...

Fear ye not, I have not turned into some doomsday soothsayer whilst on "sabbatical"! Far from it in fact, the last few months setting up DWDG have been great fun and a timely reminder of the principles of lean start-up. Getting back into the creative phase of business growth is a lovely place to be and really enjoyed researching and implementing some application stacks, new banking products and working on our processes. Far from finished but great to be "back on the tools". Special thanks to Emma Newman (and Chris Heyes) for helping us with our branding too!

We are very much in the do, test, change phase and have been reminded of how important that principle is. As a business grows and narrows into a focus ( also a good thing ) the ability to test can be diminished. When was the last time you were able to do that in your organisation? Give it a go if you haven't for a while, it may surprise you with the results.

DWDG is all about helping businesses and the people within to achieve some form of outcome. That does not always relate to "exits", "sale" or "investment" but we make no excuse for being focused on outcomes which deliver value in all it's connotations. We believe in tight contracting (the unwritten psychological kind more than the written form) and being part of the journey as a truly added value partnership, not "advisors" for fees.
