For the beginner's - Why small company is paying low salary?

MNC is paying higher side?

Hiring is the major part of any organization. I strongly believe that the employees are the backbone of any concern rather than anything.

Now a days I am facing very big difficulties in the hiring process. Especially after Covid. We can understand in many ways, because of COVID19, people started to be idle without job / study and thinking that we can sit at home.

After this 2-year industry started in full swing of production and we are also slowly getting projects.

We Math Technologies - 12 years Old company doing lot of Industrial Automation projects. The density of the company is 12 engineers in average.

We hired many people from different way like reference from known, training institute, job sites and some will find through website in the past 12 years!

If we call 10 people for interview, 8 candidates mostly will come and we can find 2 better Engineers from them (our requirement 2 only). I am talking about 2011 - 12 duration.

In recent times, we short listed 100 resumes, we called everyone but not a single person visited our door step. Our one of client MMTCL wants 2 engineers so we try to find Engineers aggressively.

But still finding, I am curious whether it is happening for us only or happening to every company?

The answer is - happened / happening for most of the concern.

Here I am trying to find the gap rather to blame anyone. Because we can blame anyone, but there is no meaning in that.

Colleges, Industry & the individual involved in this process. So we industry should come forward to speak about the issue. Colleges and individuals should also come forward to short it out the issues or they should open up. Reputed / corporate / big companies are not facing this problem. Most probable reason is they are not hiring freshers. Sometimes they are doing it with some of the major / reputed colleges.

Then where the rest will get opportunities?

Who will provide job to them?

We can segregate the market in 3 categories.

  • Top level companies (global / MNC).
  • India Private Limited.
  • Small range of company having 10 or less people.

Based on the potential people get opportunity. Working is nothing but whatever you have studied that you are just implementing it and complete the given task. Beginners should understand the work nature and technicality behind the work. Someone will get it quickly and work smart. Someone will get some time to learn it. Learning process take time.

500 engineering colleges are there in Tamil Nadu, I don’t know how much of colleges got filled. 1 lakh people can become an engineer every year. How many of them get government job?

How many of them get MNC job?

How many of them roaming around?

How many of them doing un relevant jobs?

Sometime people comparing them with others, not bad but you have to compare the skill not salary. If you have the talent, then you will get better salary.

People got job in our company they don’t even know what is relay?

we teach them. Lot of small companies are doing business as well as the role training providers for the freshers. we are doing vital role in the job market. We train them and giving to the next level of companies. Here some companies are having ethics and they hire in a proper way. Some others doing un ethical hiring. Yes, here we have to discuss both. Whoever in the position of hiring authority can understand what I am trying to explain. Even all others can understand, but they are not ready to accept the truth. Last 11 years I struggling to find, but I found better people always. Even during the Covid19 period engineers hold my hand and they never let me down. I respect my engineers here who are all working with me throughout the journey.

I can conclude in this way,

Different peoples are there in the market; we have to find who can be a Better One?

Better One means?

Simply I can say "working attitude".
