I had a draft of this article for few weeks but couldn’t publish it. Why? ?Simply because it didn’t have the “meat” I wanted to communicate, until now.
I just finished a business conference today. It started on Wednesday and finished on Saturday. Two days of 12 to 14 hours and two days of 6 hours, and in between I needed to go complete other business obligations.
You may ask, what a business conference has to do with the unfinished article?
Aside of the long hours in the conference and outside the conference, a powerful quote you will learn at the end.
Business plans, working plans and/or projects to complete require a specific task that needs to be completed within certain amount of time, being days, months, years, etc.
There are several methods available to choose from, with internal application (mindset-psychological) and external (mechanical – action oriented). We can follow these methods to the “T” and still fall short from attainment, but think about this, and this is where the quote from the business conference fits well:
“The thing you build, ultimately builds you” ??
We never know how deep and wide the effect of taking action to attain a goal is impacting our way of thinking and way of processing issues.
Definitively at some point there is a shift that occurs along the line that will happen if we persist regardless of the environment or the lack of “immediate” results, just keep pushing!
Your identity will shift!
