It is going to get tough,
When we experience difficult situations and on top of that we get an additional portion of it without any warning, we normally say -When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Well, one of the options we have talked about is to stop and ask and decide -at least one or more of the following things:
?
?
All this sounds very simple, let me tell you the challenge. Do we really get to do this right in the middle of the storm? The answer is a sounding No!
?
What to do? It actually something you can do before the storm comes. This is important because you are naturally in a better state of mind to process ideas and actions -effective actions- when you are not disrupted.
The exercise is about creating a list of all those challenging moments you have experienced in the past where you succeeded, especially those moments where you thought you were done but you succeeded. Write them down, and as you put them on paper try to remember the emotions and drive that kept you moving!
?
Then you ask yourself:
While I was experiencing this (remember each event -separately), ask yourself:

-What I was telling myself?
-How did I walk?
-How did I talk?
-What pushed me?
You will realise that this is practically an arsenal, a reservoir of ammunition to create energy that will pull you through.
?
Put all this together. Next time you experience a storm (tough situation) and you feel overwhelmed, stressed out and anxious, go grab your list and read it aloud and in a stand up position!
?
You will notice a shift in yourself and from that reference of mind process the ideas and actions you can make to face the problem find a solution!
?
Think about it!
