My “column” last week had to do with getting started on resolutions for 2025.
I truly hope you got started –I did!
The topic this week is about principles, your principles, the ones that you hold dear in your heart. In this day and age, there is no shortage of distractions, easy fixes, quick solutions, immediate gratification, etc.
Once they grab you, it is very easy to fall in the trap and remain “hypnotized” with that rhythm and make decision according to outside events and circumstances and feelings.
With the holidays around the corner and social gatherings going on everywhere, it is particularly difficult to concentrate in the important things at hand.
My invitation today, is to make time to pause and start anew in your thoughts and reflections.
I remember my grandma teaching me a BIG principle in life for difficult situations:
She said “son, when you have a tough decision to make, stop, step back, look at your values (in your heart) and make a decision. You will never be wrong!” ?
It has been proven many times!
Think about it, and try it!
