A Beginners Guide to publishing their Debut - Book - Nimmagadda Shree Deepthi

A Beginner's Guide to Writing a debut Book

Did you ever feel left behind and instead of going out there and talking you decide to write something in your diary

Did you ever see something and thought wow nature can be this beautiful and just wrote a poem in your note

Did any incident effect you and you wanted to write something about it in the very second.

Then maybe you never know that there's a writer in you .

A writer whose words and works are just unpublished yet.

My debut Book is Nostalgia

It is available on Amazon if I could write a book I'm sure anyone of you can

This is just a beginners guide from my experiences and things I learnt

Point 1 -

If you ever felt like writing a book first

Just write it start writing and get your thoughts to flow don't overthink if it will even make it ?

If you want to publish it consider it published .

Always choose the theme that you can keep writing about as your a beginner also a cup of coffee for stress sessions might help you.

Be it Poetry Prose or your random pieces you want to get rolling just make sure how many pages it's going to be

Because if it's at least 40 your good to go .

If you've reached here and have written something that you think is good and you've done your best then .

Point 2 -

Look for potential publishing house .

Don't back away if your confused or face any critics it's just part of the process.

Look for publishing houses and small home grown publication startups on Instagram which is the best platform for this .

Not every first book is published by notion press or penguin house so wait up

Some small publication houses will ask you to apply and only publish if your manuscript is selected trust me they will get selected mostly!

Because that's how they run and some ask you to pay a nominal fee for publishing the book e copy and hard copy

They will help in editing and making a book cover getting you a valid ISBN code and take care of everything.

you should just discuss royalty percent and some other terms you will be all set.

If after all of this you've successfully got a book out there my friend what ever publishing house that is your an author from a writer .

Point - 3

Of course you've got an Instagram page so do some own marketing some book photography for your own book and help spread the word .

Also remember your starting small so it doesn't matter the number of people you reach.

But it matters what they think about it ?

The Impression Lasts.

Point 4-

Didn't find a publishing house ? You can always research but if you still haven't don't worry this is a modern world things have endless solutions as endless problems.

Register yourself on Amazon KDP Kindle Publishing and look for tutorials on YouTube and publish your e book

Now that you have to design your own cover for that you can use Canva and any picture from their as it's free to use .

You will have wide range of picks from non - copyrighted ones to free to use you can also check out Pinterest and some other free picture templates platforms.

Then just follow the regulations of KDP set some cost for the E-book and publish it .

Your book is out yes if it's KDP you can only publish an e book but if you really want to be an author there is time and everyone is on their phones in this technology driven world so your not missing out that much .

Trust me I have started that way too.

Thank you for reading :)

Hope this helps someone out there because if I knew these things beforehand when I wanted to do all of this. That my friend would've been a great help.
