Getting started with Outsystems

Installation

First go to Outsystems Portal website, by clicking the “Start Free” Button sign up for an account. Fill your details to create an account.

After created an account, login to the account, “Download” service studio.

After Outsystems is installed you will need to copy paste the link available in the “your infrastructure tab” in the above image and Outsystems credentials to login the environment.

After you login create new application.

After that you will decide if you are building an app from scratch or Using pre build apps.

You can use according to your requirement. Whether it’s a Web app, Mobile app, App for tablets, External web portal, Traditional web or Service app.

You can name your app and choose the theme color.

Breaking down an application into modules provides organized structure, makes it easier to manage and maintain each modules focus on specific set of functionalities.

We can download and have back up of modules as OML file and download as OAP file to access from another environment with certain permissions.
