I saw this post yesterday, and I was reminded of the Wisdom of Professor Rolf Hattenauer some 40 years ago. When asked by us in class around a huge project we had been assigned ... with us saying... "Where do we begin?'... his first response was "You begin". That turned into a conversation around how we often seem to need to be somehow arbitrarily "ready" before we begin. But, as Professor Hattenauer and this meme say... start. Begin. And, again.

Also yesterday, I developed my funky little daily and monthly rock plan. As I got it laminated, and ready to roll, I ever more realized that the rolling is about starting. A plan is great, a vision wonderful, a mission meaningful. Purpose matters. It is the soil of growing something great. Still, that soil needs action. That garden needs work... as the rabbit infers.

I have work to do, on matters personal and professional; and it gets done by starting, each day.

Of late, I have posted on Have a Crazy Cool Summer and Meekness ain't Weakness and Your 5 Pearls... and Mining Your Own Dang Business. I humbly offer that they are each worthy of a bit of a read and reflect.

Making me ready is about facing life on it's terms, in all circumstances, at all times. Readiness is a mindset. Nature knows this. The birds of the sky and the animals of the land and water know this. You rise up each day and do the work. That is the real law of attraction; the law of daily doing the work. Know what you want, and work towards it, every day. Begin again, each day. As I work on my health and more, I am reminded that the work begins each day. As I begin a bit of a Summer of Cool Change, I am reminded of doing that work that is required and necessary. Every day is Day One. As I work on visions and business "plans"... short, medium and long term...

... I am yet again reminded of the importance of the work, daily. For me as an Educator and Entrepreneur, this resonates and rings true. The work begins again, each day. Whether we are talking personal or professional change, whether we are talking global goals and a future for us all... the work begins again, each and every day. So, I put this to you. What needs beginning for you today? What would beginning today look like? One day at a freakin' time; therein we find our true Boldness.
