As an independent filmmaker and CG animator, funding is the toughest and most elusive thing to find. Often I joke to my friends that I'll stand on a freeway exit holding a big sign asking for funding. They always laugh, girls love it, they think I'm funny.

Filmmakers in every country, in every state, in every city I talk to all complain about how hard it is to raise capital for a film. Why is it so hard? Who are the gate keepers that keep us from making great thought provoking media?

So that leaves many of us to fall by the wayside. We try, we pour all of our heart and souls into what we believe to be true. And yet when all else fails, we beg. But the truth is begging sucks and I wanna' make these films. www.mmtvfilms.com
