Have you ever planted a sapling? Especially of an indoor plant? If you have, then I think you would be able to relate to me better. I have always loved being around plants. For me the best tutors of patience are the plants. There are so many things that we can learn from a plant.
They are genuine. The plants are true to themselves and take pride in expressing their true being. In my garden, I have different types of plants such as shrubs, vegetables, fruits, climbers, flowering, etc. They all flaunt their own beauty in an unique way. Foliage never yearns to be like a flower and vice versa. They are happy with who they are and they appreciate the presence of others around them. You get to see this in a flower bouquet very vividly.
They always live in harmony. Plants always love sharing their space with other plants. In fact, if we leave some plants alone, they may face more challenges in terms of growth and life span. No plant ever tries to compete with another or else grasses would be the saddest plant if they had been competing in terms of height. The key is to understand the value and necessity of everyone and respecting them for their contribution. If grass would go on missing, the soil would retain less moisture, which would affect all the other plants. Similarly in life, our every minute act is meaningful and should be respected by us.
They are resilient. I've seen so many plants who would be drying out yet blooming flowers. They don't let challenges and tough times affect them in a negative way. Even when they are decaying or dying, they still live out with their remaining parts in joy and happiness. Often in life, we turn bitter as a response to negative challenges and let that feeling affect our performance or even happiness and state of being. We need to identify that our true nature is to be happy and share joy.
Let us all bloom and share our excellence with the world around us.
