In the game of training, remember that the ball is in the learner's court, not yours. Just as a soccer player strives for mastery on the field, learning is all about acquiring skills, reinforcing knowledge, and improving attitude for personal and professional success.

At the final whistle of your training session, your learners should experience the triumphant hat-trick of learning, which are: skill acquisition, knowledge reinforcement, and attitude enhancement. To ensure this victory, you must build your training strategy around the unique characteristics of your players.

  1. EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND: Just like knowing which position your players excel at, understand your learners' educational levels and backgrounds. Are they seasoned veterans, young and ambitious millennials, or the fresh-faced Gen Z? Tailor your training to suit their playing field.
  2. LEARNING CULTURE: Every player has their preferred playing style. Do your learners thrive in a structured, instructional environment? Or do they shine through peer-to-peer collaboration? Explore whether they respond best to visual cues, auditory guidance, the power of audiovisual presentations, or the written word. Customize your training playbook accordingly.
  3. AVAILABILITY: Just as players invest in their equipment, consider the investment your learners must make. How affordable is your Training program? Always weight this in terms of finance and time.
  4. ACCESSIBILITY: In the game of training, accessibility is key. Determine the playing field. Is your training tech-based or tech-supported? Will it be accessed online, where they can engage from anywhere on the globe? Or will it be an offline experience, catering to those with limited connectivity? Ensure your content is accessible to all stakeholders, regardless of their technological prowess.
