Dear Employee,
As you look for a new job this year, the following may be helpful;
Not every company is worth your career, do your background check before you can even start the application process. Many people have joined organisations only to regret in a few months about their decision.
Not every position that you see advertised is suitable for you, make sure you match your experience, academic credentials, skills, etc to see if you are the best match.
You also need to take on a new job that will give an opportunity to grow your skills and capabilities for your future career aspirations, there are jobs that look good in pay but might kill your career and limit your growth in the future.
An excellent?cover letter and CV might get you on the shortlist but your ability to sell yourself as a candidate who will bring value to the organisation you are going to work for is one of the factors that will get you to the next step of the recruitment process.
Do extensive research about the organisation, its values, culture, its current pain points, its vision etc and then allign your skills, expereince, education to make you a good fit.
Best Regards,
