Before Screen, There Was Script

“The four of us—Vanridee and Jira as producers, Ped as the screenwriter, and Pat as the director—started working on this script together.

It was 2021, and Bangkok was in lockdown. So naturally, Zoom became our second home for working on the script together. Something we never imagine of before and took us some time to get used to.? ?

Every day felt less like writing a script and more like sharing family stories. It was peaceful. but also kinda lonely. We had no idea when Covid would end, and the future felt so uncertain while only the past seemed clear.

Reflecting on our families during that time gave us a deeper understanding of what family really means—the family we have, the family we had, and the family we forgot we still have.”
