Been a minute
TL;DR - May was a whirlwind with a shattered right leg, but my team has been absolute rockstars and my family's support has been incredible!
Despite the setback, 2024 has been full of excitement and promise. I entered the year with as much enthusiasm as I did in 2020 ?? We've been laser-focused on scaling our team under our new mothership, Wrapmate.
As May approached, there was so much on the agenda. It marked our first board meeting post-Wrapmate’s recent financing, OAAA was in our hometown, and it was the 9th anniversary of my full-time commitment to Wrapify.
NINE YEARS. Every ounce of effort poured into building this company was on my mind. I took a few days to spend time up in Mammoth, CA (one of my favorite places on the planet) for some birthday park laps with friends to reflect on nearly a decade of shaping a whole industry.
But then, a bobble on the slopes led to three surgeries and some serious recovery time. It's been a journey, but I'm making progress. In nine weeks, I'll finally be able to put weight on my right leg again.
During my time in the hospital, I had plenty of moments to ponder:
Huge thanks to all who provided help and support these past few weeks.? It won't be forgotten.?

If snow skiing and boarding were not the rushes they are, we would never take on that risk. Kinda like life, my friend.
