A Bed Time story with an Unconventional Inspiration

As usual every night I rely on Amazon's Alexa for a bed time story to help my 7 year old daughter fall asleep. Unfortunately that day Alexa didn't work. So, My daughter turned to me for a story. I took a moment to think on something that's easy for me and a very short story. Interestingly without any specific reason I picked "Who Moved My Cheese" but with my own version and fiction keeping the moral of the story AS IS. My Story started with 2 Mice friends (named as Salt and Pepper) and how they lived happily. Then suddenly one day due to circumstances around how Salt was scared to deal with the change, stayed on and lived miserably while Pepper took chances, moved on and explored new places and found happiness. I wrapped up quickly and we both slept with little knowledge that the story made lasting impact on my young mind. After few days, as we were about to sleep my daughter said "Dad, I did something today that am usually scared to do while getting on the school bus", I said what did you do ? She said "I walk up to a senior from my school and asked her 'Can I be your friend' and She said "Yes". Dad, "I am happy today that I did something that am scared of". I was speechless that my story had such a deep profound impact on her attitude. Then Suddenly she asked "Dad, Are you scared of anything and did you try something to get over it ". Now She made think me that the impact is not only on her but she influenced me to do something that am scared. "Like this post. this is my first post on LinkedIn". :)
