Sometimes we’re thrown around by life, wishing everything would settle so there could just be stillness for a little while.
It feels like there’s always a problem to solve and something unexpected interrupting our peace.
This resistance to things unfolding creates suffering, and we’ll continue to suffer if we allow the sea to push us around.
We must be like the rock with the waves crashing around it.?— Marcus Aurelius
The rock is unbothered, secure in its place and allows the water to become still around it.

Our pursuit shouldn’t be that everything goes to plan; it should be about creating the thickest layer possible between us and life’s external factors.
The ups and downs are inevitable — expecting the waves to stop is fruitless.
Navigating the random combination of waves coming at you is your personal story — a unique path out to sea that’s never stale.
This isn’t to downplay life’s biggest curveballs, sometimes things go really bad.
The biggest of waves can knock you down to your knees and have you questioning even getting back up at all, a suffering that nobody else could understand — but the roughest of seas demand the best from the sailor.

The way I see it, destiny isn’t a magical goal at the end for you to achieve.
Destiny is your personal way of navigating the dice rolled path that’s in front of you.
