The Becoming Regenerative Launch Event, Oct. 25th, 2pm-5pm

Dear B-Regen Newsletter subscribers, please join us for the official Becoming Regenerative launch event on?October 25th?2-5 pm UK time at the Royal College of Art (this will be a hybrid event). This gathering is presents a precious opportunity to bring our eclectic community together and to share a bit about our vision - in other words, why we are setting out to research the emergence of regenerative designs and innovations that originate in creative practice, and why we wish to co-fertilise and contribute to better growth environments for regenerative initiatives.

The keynote speakers include Heather Barnett, the world-renowned slime mould artist based at Central Saint Martins who will talk about the value of the 'lesser organisms' in regenerative thought and the critically acclaimed thinker James Bridle who will discuss intelligence in the more-than-human world, advocating for a pluralistic and more imaginative understanding of our entanglements with other living beings and technology.

There will also be a very special sonic performance by Jamie Perera who will introduce and perform “Onieric Olive” — a composition from biodata recorded from an olive tree during human sleep cycles and on the dream reflections of the Wild Alchemy Lab participants (Oneiric Soils Residency in October 2023). Onieric Olive has so far been played at COP28, The London ICA, Exposed Torino & The Symbiocene Summit 2024: Bioanarchy.

In other words, it'll be an afternoon to remember! We look forward to seeing you on the 25th.
