Becoming a Part of Your City: Denver Youth Apprenticeship Opportunities Virtual Open House

On April 8, 2021 at 6:30pm MST, Denver Workforce Services will host this hour-long event, time for questions about these and other youth opportunities within the city will be provided at the end of the presentation.
The event will host a variety of panelists who will educate local youth and their families on easy ways to find and apply to, amazing apprenticeship opportunities within the city. These apprenticeships develop pathways into the city and become part of the workforce while gaining relevant and valuable work experience.
Students will have their choice of 7 different departments within the city to choose from for apprenticeship, including:
- The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI)
- Denver International Airport (DEN)
- The Department of Finance (DOF)
- Community Planning and Development (CPD)
- Denver Economic Development and Opportunity/Neighborhood Equity and Stabilization Team (DEDO/NEST)
- General Service: (GS) Administration
- General Services: (GS) Facilities Management

We are looking for upcoming Juniors (Class of 2023) that want to take advantage of a great 3-year opportunity within the city they love! An application and resume is all you need! No prior work experience, no mandatory pre-req classes, or no minimum GPA!
