Becoming a Maestro in the Coaching Profession

Becoming a Maestro in the Coaching Profession

Let's think about the creators whose works of unique aesthetic and intellectual depth make us feel completely fascinated. For instance; Frédéric Chopin, Johann Sebastian Bach, Sergei Rahmaninov, Johannes Brahms, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert

These are the names of conductors who have composed famous ballet music such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, wonderful symphonies including the famous Unfinished Symphony, many chamber music, and operas...

They are the artists who dance with many instruments such as violin, piano, cello, guitar…

Their dance transmits every emotion from their compositions to the instruments, and from there to the listeners, so that we cheer up, get sad, laugh and cry with the instruments coming to life.

Now imagine being able to use all the instruments, touch emotions with the sound of each note, play each instrument properly and create compositions with the melodies arising from it.

You are the maestro of an orchestra where your compositions are performed and you enchant those who listen to you under the influence of feelings flowing from the rhythm of the music. You throw a perfect musical feast with compositions one more effective than the other.

All listeners who hear the sound of your music continue their life in harmony with the composition of their souls. You are proud of the professional success you have achieved with harmony, symmetry, and ease along with the satisfaction with what you yourself have experienced and made others experience as well.?In this process of passionate commitment to your work, you continue to create your compositions with joy and pleasure.

You also have effective rehearsals and work with many artists who are famous in their fields. Moving forward with successful, experienced conductors in the world improves you on the stage. Being able to create powerful rhythms with each instrument gives you immense power. The applause you get on stage is the most special appreciation of your work and success. Along with the congratulations and celebrations that follow, the audience shouts your name. You receive your plaque with the zest you feel in your soul and the spotlights flash color by color.

At that point, you think of the whole journey of success before you got to this point. You remember your determination to set out on this path, the musical training, the first steps you take, the first contact with each instrument, the people who help you learn and improve over time and the ones who prepare you for this path, the obstacles you face and how you overcome them, the composers that allow you to see what you can do better, how you work enthusiastically with the awareness you have discovered and as you climb the ladder of success, you think of those who faithfully walked with you, but most importantly, you think of yourself who moves on this path steadily.

As you shine under the lights being applauded in your most stylish outfit, the media with all of their cameramen and reporters is there to interview you, a world-renowned composer. While you are experiencing these emotions of the process of success, suddenly the microphones are handed to you. What would you like to tell them?

Coaching

Now let's materialize that dream with coaching.

You want to be a coach everyone mentions with success and wants to work together, who has achieved their goals and supports those around them in recreating their lives and helping them reach their goals. Thus, you decided to move forward with ICF, the pioneer organization in this field.

The ICF professional credentialing process is a process where you develop your coaching skills depending on the credential you aim for, work with an experienced professional coach about your coaching performance, strengthen your competencies with the feedback you receive, and make progress with professional help through practices that enhance your awareness.

In this process, there is the requirement of a 10-hour Mentor Coaching service by the ICF. Here, it is intended for the applicant Mentee to achieve and demonstrate the level of competence in ACC, PCC, and MCC credentialing, performance evaluation criteria, and application conditions.?

At this point, it is crucial for you to choose your mentor properly. In this period, you can choose the right one with some qualifications you need to look for in a mentor, and then, you can take firm steps forward. You should look at your mentor's credential, hours of coaching experience, how many people they have trained in the profession and their current levels, what kind of references your mentor has, their contributions to the coaching profession as well as their work. Because on the path you chose to be, you will be like your mentor.

Your mentor will give guide you on what you are going to do, share his experience with you. He will show you the unfavorable situations that you may encounter, as he experiences them also; how you will overcome them, and he will take you where you want to reach and support you throughout the process. The harmony achieved with your mentor will allow you to move forward in your professional development with high motivation.

The Mentor Coach is responsible for ensuring an effective start by signing a mentor coaching agreement with you. He will reveal what is in your potential to achieve, set the criteria for success, identify the time frame, and all other aspects.

The mentor will inform you, the mentee, about the ICF code of ethics and the existence of the ICF Ethical Conduct Review Board. Afterward, he will review your coaching sessions, give verbal or written feedback, and focus on your development at the core competence level, giving you enough time to evaluate what you have learned, and move forward through the targeted session samples. At the end of the day, he will understand what needs to be done to develop a deep level of mastery in coaching and pass on his experience to you in the meantime.

Imagine being able to use coaching instruments, make powerful analysis with each coaching tool, touch emotions in the right place with the sound of the right questions, manage your knowledge and skills properly, and create unique sessions with the resulting melodies.

You are the maestro of that session that you lead, where you make the clients experience emotions with the rhythm of the session, enlighten them with the awareness of these emotions, where you ensure that they reach the success they want to achieve with the strong decisions they make. With sessions one more effective than the other, you compose an excellent musical feast in your professional progress. Each mentee who hears the sound of this music in their sessions continues with their life successfully and in harmony with the changes in their soul. You create such powerful effects that after a while you are about to become recognized, successful, preferred and sought-after; you will have your name written in gold letters in your field, and become a credential-holder coach, a maestro.

You are proud of your experiences in your profession and the achievements of ease, harmony, and symmetry, contributing to change and transformation. In this process, where you are passionately committed to your work, you continue to perform your sessions with joy and pleasure and broadcast your compositions. Moreover, you work and have rehearsals in effective mentor coaching sessions with a successful mentor in their field. You are preparing to successfully pass the criteria in your ICF certification application, where session audio recordings will be examined and performance evaluation will be conducted.

Moving forward with a successful, experienced, global credential-holder mentor coach improves you on your session stage. Being able to create powerful questions with each coaching tool gives you immense power. It is the most special appreciation of your work and success when your mentees express their happiness through their transformations in their sessions.

And then when you get the ICF credential, you celebrate, and your mentees congratulate you as well. As the spotlights flash color by color in your soul, at that moment, you remember the entire journey of success before you got to this point.

You remember your determination to embark on a credentialing journey in the coaching profession, the coaching training, your first session experiences, your first contact with the tools we use in the coaching session, the mentor coach who helps you learn and increase your knowledge and skills effectively over time in the mentor coaching program, the difficulties you face and how you overcome these with your mentor, your enthusiastic work with the awareness from the mentoring sessions allowing you to see what you could do better, people who walked with you faithfully as you climb the ladder of success, and of course, you remember yourself who steadily continued on the path to credentialing and created your own unique style.

As you shine under the lights and applauded in your most stylish outfit, microphones are handed to you in a new world waiting to meet the credential-holder coach. What would you like to tell them?

The reality of this dream depends on your choices and efforts.

Don't make a choice until you are sure of your Mentor coach. Investigate all other mentor coaches and talk to them. Because your mentor will be your companion on this path.

In my program where I will be your mentor coach, while getting stronger in your areas within your ability, you have the opportunity to complete and develop your coaching skills by getting one-on-one training from me in areas we will find you to be lacking.

You will be able to continue with me in your professional journey after the certification process, in which we will move step by step, as you get stronger. After 10 sessions of mentor coaching, as MCC Fatih Elibol, together we will go through the doors I will open for you with all my support.
