Founded in 2019 by Mike Cotton ?and Jon Dwyer , Wondr Gaming initially set out to revolutionize the #gaming industry as a comprehensive loyalty rewards platform. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, like many companies, Wondr faced unexpected challenges. In Q1 of 2020, Wondr Gaming found its stride and made a pivotal decision to shift its focus towards digital media #advertising - an endeavour that would prove to be a game-changer. Wondr?embarked on an exciting partnership with #Samsung Canada and launched its flagship brand campaign in January 2022, highlighting the incredible Samsung Odyssey monitor.?

This collaboration led to remarkable success, with a significant increase in monitor sales quarter over quarter!??This notable achievement cemented a profound and lasting relationship between Wondr Gaming and Samsung, propelling the?duo to produce Samsung Canada's largest #digitalmedia campaigns for two consecutive years. In fact, in 2022, Gamelancer Media (aka Wondr?Gaming) was honoured with Samsung's prestigious Best in Class award ?? for our outstanding "Samsung Connectivity" campaign which featured individuals reuniting after COVID and communicating with one another using Samsung products. Fueling Jon and?Mike's vision for growth, Wondr Gaming initiated strategic acquisitions. In 2021, the pair began the acquisition process of JoyBox Media , a renowned production company. After months of collaboration, they finalized the deal in March of 2022. One month later, in April of 2022, the pair successfully acquired Gamelancer Gaming Corp.?

With these acquisitions, the?trio embraced a transformative change and proudly rebranded as Gamelancer Media Corp. The newly rebranded company hit the ground running as a full-service #digitalmedia production, entertainment, and distribution powerhouse, catering to brands worldwide. Since then, Gamelancer Media Corp. has collaborated with numerous well-known and esteemed brands, producing exceptional, engaging campaigns that captivate audiences. The company's meteoric growth is awe-inspiring, consistently gaining over 1.5 million new followers and subscribers every month across its?54 channel?owned-and-operated network!?

Gamelancer Media's latest collaboration with Samsung Canada has been for the creation of an innovative 'SmartThings' Connected Home Experience ad campaign. The Samsung Experience Store, located at CF Eaton Centre in Toronto, Ontario, is being transformed into a connected home environment as part of this collaboration, providing customers with the opportunity to experience a connected world firsthand. Visitors can explore various rooms including a home gym, kitchen, living room, and home office that showcase Samsung's products' integration and how they contribute to an interconnected and more convenient life. Utilizing SmartThings technology, users have the ability to enhance productivity, simplify daily tasks, personalize their preferences, and unleash their creativity through Samsung's SmartThings app for Galaxy devices. Samsung has even taken the campaign a step further by partnering with nine notable Canadians and influencers, including Faizal Khamisa, Tiana Shern, Roy Woods, and Taylor Mei, who will participate in a head-to-head trivia competition, exhibiting the incredible potential of Samsung SmartThings technology and testing their Canadian Trivia intelligence.
