If our Medical and other experts waited to see how this pandemic was going to impact the country, we would be in a vastly different situation than we are today. We would be seeing more deaths, minimal personal protective equipment and ventilators and more business owners shutting their doors from harsher lockdown rules.?

The?medical experts got it right.... they started taking actions immediately to prepare for the future, to bring in supplies and training to ensure we were prepared and ready for anything coming our?way.?They didn't just wait and see what would happen. Thankfully the quick action taken by the Health Industry and backed by the government has saved lifes and the rest of us from unnecessary grief and kaos.?Was this just LUCK??you may think that.

Personally I don't believe?in LUCK ..?I prefer to think that LUCK is where opportunity meets preparation.

If you are finding yourself not making decisions at all or not as quick as you would have in a growth phase, consider you're?"sitting on the fence"?and leaving money on the table.

Just waiting to see what's?going to happen, is a strategy for the mediocre and won't be assisting the future growth phase this country needs and will be going through whether you sit on the fence or not. Not to mention that if the?fence is a picketed one... Well you could be causing yourself more pain than needed and could require some medical attention very soon.

Seriously though, What is the alternative you may well ask ??

I know we 've?come from a comfortable environment?that has been growing nicely and now?have been faced to embrace the UNKNOWN early this year.?Yes, being truthful it's completely out of our comfort zones and frustrating to say the least !!?Now we 're?entering into the Uncertainty stage and must get comfortable with the uncomfortable uncertainty for a while or shrivel up and be left behind.?

You could be asking yourself any or all of the following ...

Uncertain how long will this go on for ? Will we be forced back into lockdown? When will a vaccine come out??What is the new normal going to look like ?

All great questions, and the answer .. WE Don't KNOW !!?it could be weeks, months or years ...?

So we need to?"Get Comfortable?with being Uncomfortable with Uncertainty " as a start. Yes it's not going to feel that good and neither does having COVID-19 so I have been told.?

An alternative way to look at this would be to ask yourself the following questions:-?

Am I prepared to "Back my own Future Growth" even though there is a lot of uncertainty out there ? or??Am I prepared to get out of my own survival state and be a contribution to the thousands of business owners that need your help and expertise right now??

We are now the " Doctors of Business " with hundreds of?thousands of Business Owners wanting an expert to coach them in steering?their business in a direction that will have them prosper in uncertain times.?This is your mission should you choose to accept it.

If the above situation occurs for you as " Doable" then it will BE that for you.

If?the situation occurs as hopeless, then unfortunately?it will be that for you as well and you don't need to keep reading this article.

Shifting the way in which this situation occurs for you will have you take actions in accordance with your future growth. Some of the most successful?businesses came about in recessionary times with the owner shifting the way in which the situation occurred to an opportunity rather than the possibility of a loss.?

The way I see the situation now is that we have an abundance of opportunities open to us?as a Business Coach if we see the situation as an opportunity.??

"Backing your own FUTURE Growth in uncertain times, with flexibility and allowing for change"?is what is needed for every business owner to build a future past COVID-19 starting with your's.

Think of this as New Beginnings and /or a Renewal of something... combined with an Innovative and growth mindset for yourself. This will bring forth the growth both you and your small business clients want to create an environment with certainty. We all have to do our part.
