Becoming a better person

What is the best book that you have ever read? I know that it is a very difficult question to ask. Every book provides a different perspective and touches us uniquely. Some of them create a lasting impression on us. I have read more than a thousand books till now and when I look back, the book that has cast a spell on me is Rolf Dobelli's "The Art of Thinking Clearly". Rolf is an exceptional thinker and he possesses the unique capability to cut the clutter and make us see through. While each of us make mistakes and we would also be making mistakes in future, Rolf educates us through his cognitive research findings as to why we make mistakes, why we become blindfolded and how can we become better at decision making as a person, as a leader, as a human being. We can see better only if our mind is empty. If the mind is distorted by bodily pain, reflections of past or worries relating to future, our thinking process gets clogged. There is no better foolishness than 'mindfulness'. If mind is full, it cannot think clearly. Mind should be empty and enable us to think on a 'zero base". If you haven't read the book already, I strongly suggest that you read it and enrich yourself. If you have come across any unique publication, please let me know.
