Become a "Sellebrity"
It doesn't matter who we are or what we do, we all do sell; weather is our spouse, kids and family or our employers, co-workers, clients or OURSELVES we have to sell. The hardest sell is ourselves, selling us out of our own way.
Let's reframe the word "sell' who most of us relate or stereotype to the pushy car salesman (I've been one) or telemarketer (been there too) and think about "Sellebrity", sellebrity is when become we passionate about the benefits of our offering to others, and not about ourselves.
How do I go from seller to "Sellebrity"?
1- First you connect with yourself and discover YOUR identity, who you are and how you operate. Are you fast paced or cautious? Are you people or task oriented? Do you refer as an I or as We? Do you like to take risks or prefer to have security? Accept the fact of who you are and embrace yourself. Develop your strength, leverage your weakness.
2- Know what you want. Take the time to create and understand your Vision, Mission and Values through which you'll ignite your passion. What make you smile or cry? What makes you happy or sad? Where and how do you see yourself in the future? What is YOUR definition of success? How do you know if you are successful? What do you want?
3- Believe in your product or service. Become the expert of your craft, be proud of your offering. Would you buy and use what you are offering? Is the product/service align with myself and beliefs? If the answer is not an absolute YES, you may want to reconsider what you're doing.
4- Share your knowledge with the world, but most important assess your potential customers needs and then offer them a solution through the benefits of your offering. Create an experience that they will be eager to share with their sphere, and now my amigos, you are a SELLEBRITY!
