Become the ruler of the 4th dimension

Have you ever made a schedule but failed terribly when it came to executing it? Have you had goals but failed to complete them even when you knew you were capable of doing so, just because you didn’t plan correctly? Why don’t you understand how to do it? Why do you choose to stay ignorant and keep shooting your shots in a dark room? Today, let’s learn how to turn on the light.

I have been going through videos, books, articles, etc over the last few days to understand how to make a perfect schedule and have discovered a few things. As a newbie myself, I wanted to explain it to you as I explained it to myself. But before that why is it so hard to make a schedule? Making a schedule is like trying to herd a bunch of cats — it sounds like a good idea in theory, but in practice, it’s a complete disaster. It’s like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole or trying to teach a fish to ride a bicycle.

There are just so many distractions and temptations in life that can derail even the most meticulously planned schedule. One minute you’re focused on finishing that report, and the next minute you’re scrolling through memes on Instagram.

And let’s not forget the unforeseen curveballs that life likes to throw our way. Maybe you get hit with a sudden cold, or your neighbor decides to start playing the most obnoxiously loud music at 6 am. It’s like the universe is conspiring against you and your precious schedule.

But despite all the challenges, it’s important to keep trying. As they say, if at first, you don’t succeed, try, try again. And if that doesn’t work, well, there’s always the option of becoming a cat herder instead. Now to make a perfect schedule, there are a lot of theories but in the end, what really matters is getting work done. So here are 3 points that will help you achieve that

State of flow

experiencing a sense of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. To achieve flow, here are some tips:

  1. Set clear goals: Define clear and specific goals to give yourself direction and purpose.
  2. Focus on the task at hand: Eliminate distractions and focus your attention on the task at hand.

Create a journal: Creating a journal can help us give our brains the correct feedback to improve and understand our mistakes. It gives us a sight for the efficiency

Challenge yourself: Set challenges that are just beyond your current skill level to help you grow and develop.Don't overdo it to the extent of making it your fear but dream for the stars and maybe you will become the astronaut you seek to be !!

Find your sweet spot: Find the sweet spot between boredom and anxiety where you are challenged but not overwhelmed.

Enjoy the process: Enjoy the process of what you are doing and find pleasure in the activity itself. If it is boring as hell, make it pleasurable by awarding yourself with some fun activity or go into the first principles of the activity.

Take breaks: Take regular breaks to prevent burnout and give your mind and body a chance to rest and recover.

Practice mindfulness: Practice mindfulness to stay present in the moment and avoid being distracted by thoughts of the past or future.

Create Lists

To be productive and have a good schedule, I think it’s important to first identify the tasks that are essential and their timings. For me, this includes things like attending my classes, sleeping at a reasonable time, and making sure I have time for lunch.

Once I have those essential tasks in mind, I try to figure out how much time I have left for completing other work. For example, I’m currently participating in a 100-day writing challenge where I write a poem every day on my

. This is a fixed task that takes me around 10 minutes, but it’s something that I prioritize and make sure to include in my schedule.I also try to add some value to your life by writing such articles on medium so do check out my other writings!

Of course, distributing my time between all of my tasks can be a challenge. It takes practice to get it right, and I’ve definitely had days where I’ve fallen behind or felt overwhelmed. But I’ve learned to trust the process and keep trying my best.

In my experience, having a good schedule isn’t just about being efficient or checking off tasks. It’s also about finding a balance that works for me and allows me to feel fulfilled and energized. So, while it’s important to be disciplined and focused, I also make sure to give myself breaks and time for self-care. It’s all about finding what works for you and being willing to adjust as needed.

Focus on your nutrition

Yes, schedule and nutrition are totally linked!! Growing up, I never paid much attention to what I ate or when I ate it. My days were filled with school, sports practices, and hanging out with friends. I would grab whatever food was convenient and tasty, without giving much thought to how it would affect my energy levels or productivity.

As I entered college, I found myself struggling to stay productive and focused. I was constantly feeling lazy and unenergetic, and my mind seemed to wander aimlessly like a butterfly from one thing to another

That’s when I started to experiment with my diet and schedule. I learned about the importance of eating nutrient-dense foods, like fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins, and I started to plan out my meals and snacks in advance.

By combining these nutrition strategies with a well-planned schedule, I was able to achieve a new level of productivity and focus. I would block off certain times of the day for focused work, and I made sure to fuel my body with the right foods beforehand. I also scheduled in time for exercise and relaxation, which helped me recharge and stay motivated.

Of course, it wasn’t always easy to stick to this routine. There were days when I would crave junk food or feel too tired to exercise. But by reminding myself of my goals and the benefits of a healthy diet and schedule, I was able to stay consistent and see real results.

can confidently say that my nutrition and schedule are two of the most important factors in anyone’s success. By taking care of my body and mind, I am able to show up fully for my work and my relationships, and I feel happier and more fulfilled overall. I feel that you will too!

Motivation

Ah, the eternal struggle of staying motivated and consistent with your schedule! As someone who has struggled with this myself, I completely understand the frustration that comes with falling off the wagon.

But fear not! There are plenty of ways to stay motivated and consistent with your schedule. First and foremost, you need to find what works for you. Maybe it’s listening to some hype music while you work, or treating yourself to a little reward once you’ve completed your tasks for the day (hello, chocolate!). Whatever it is, figure it out and use it to your advantage.

Another way to stay motivated is to keep your eye on the prize. Remember why you’re doing this in the first place. Is it to achieve a long-term goal, or simply to feel more productive and accomplished? Whatever it is, remind yourself of it every day and keep that goal in sight.

Experiment a lot, when it comes to things like motivation honestly, because motivation from one source finishes up real fast! So keep finding new sources. The primary source should always be within you but for cold days an extra layer is never too bad.

And finally, don’t beat yourself up too much if you fall off track. It happens to the best of us. The important thing is to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back to it. And who knows, maybe you’ll even surprise yourself with how much you can accomplish when you’re motivated and consistent.

So go ahead and make that schedule, stick to it as much as you can, and don’t forget to have a little fun along the way. You got this!
