Become a Leader instead of Boss

I am sharing my personal experience during my more than 2 decades journey. In

any organization there are many stages or hierarchy are there to control the

organization operations. On each stage superior is there to control down the

line team & usually, we all call this superior as “Boss” which is by nature in each

organization or institution.

“Boss”?dictates the things to the down the line team & tries to complete the

assigned work. Many times, Boss statement is like I need this work done by

today or tomorrow. Rare chance that “Boss” guides you or elevates you. In most

of the cases the outcome comes due to fear factor or to save the job. In most of

the cases we found that team members respect the chair not the Boss.

“Leader”?always guides you, helps you to achieve your task. Leader always with

the team, not on the top of them. Leader will try to involve you, to understand

you personally. Here the outcome comes by nature as a friendly environment is

there. Leaders always try to talk & understand the personal & professional life of

each team member as much as possible. A true leader always extends the

achievements into their team & takes the responsibility of failures. Leader

always protects his/her team & prepares the succession plan to elevate them.

Most of the cases team members respect the leader whether he or she is in the

chair or not.

True leaders believe the developing people from scratch instead of skilled

people who bring?into his/her team, always try to bring fresh blood.

“Relationship”?works everywhere if it is good too. Any relationship works on the

feelings. Feelings build relationships, strong team building, relationship

journeys. And if the leader knows you with the feelings then team building &

output will be so effective, accurate, sufficient etc.

Recently, my birthday went and my existing team & ex team members

collectively wished me like a hero. The day I realized that I am good as “Leader”

instead of “Boss” and always try to become leader only.

Always keep in your mind:?“Don’t proud on yourself, let peoples proud on you”
