“Many years ago I was in Japan, going for one of my daily walks next to a local stream. It was a beautiful day during sakura (cherry blossom season).
I was thinking about a good friend of mine. He was the CEO of a multi-million dollar business in Japan, and I looked up to him.
But I couldn’t get one thing off my mind.
Every time I spoke with him, he told me where he had been, and what he was working on.
He seldom spoke about spending time with his family and his young daughters.
And he was working so hard that he started to have health issues.

1. How to think like an entrepreneurial consultant.?
It’s interesting that how we see ourselves through the lens of our self-proclaimed identity creates parameters through which we behave and see the world. Too many people, especially when making the jump from a corporate job to an entrepreneur’s mindset, feel a strong case that they’re not good enough - that they’re just pretending to be something.?

Learning to THINK like an entrepreneurial consultant and think about yourself as one - will help you break down self-imposed barriers and keep you going when things get tough.
2. Declare your specialization
You can’t please everyone. Work with a specific group of people that you can really dive deep to help. The benefit for you is that doing this makes it easier for you to make repeatable processes so that you don’t have to start from ground zero every time. This is especially important in the early stages of your consulting career.
3. Create Your Offer
This is what really stops a lot of people. Either they don’t know how to package their expertise or they do it the wrong way. Getting your offer right is KEY to your success.
Michael says, “As an entrepreneurial consultant, you sell your expertise and thinking which solve problems and create results for your clients.?
It's best to package your expertise and thinking into an “offer” — a list of things you'll do for your client to solve their problem and achieve their results.?
As an entrepreneur, you're now a creator — and you create consulting offers. Your offer is how you generate revenue for your business. It's what you sell and what you deliver. The more compelling your offer, the easier it will be to win consulting business.”
4. Create a system for getting clients
There’s a lot encompassed in this if you want to consistently hit high revenue (many of Michael’s clients use this to hit 6 figure months!)...
From dialing in on your messaging to developing a magnetic brand that your prospects learn to TRUST, to writing winning proposals, to closing the deal and winning your first client.
