Would you like inspire the next generation of health and care colleagues in mid and south Essex? We’re looking for people to become Health and Care Ambassadors.
Has there been someone in your past that has inspired you in your career choices? If you are passionate about your work and want to encourage more people to explore a career in health and care, signing up to be a Health and Care Ambassador is a great way to start!
The Health and Care Academy offers young people the opportunity to explore the various roles in health and care. We hold online sessions, where we invite professionals to talk about their job roles, what they love about their work, the challenges of the role and the pathway that led them into their current career. In addition to the virtual sessions, we may attend a school assembly or careers event, either in person or online.
We are looking for ambassadors from a diverse range of roles across health and care. This includes both clinical and non-clinical roles, so please do get in touch if this is something you are interested in.
As an ambassador you can be flexible in how much time you commit and the type of event you would like to support; it can be as little as one 30 minute online session.
