Combat Blindness International (CBI) celebrated its 38th birthday last month. Our 38-year journey of purpose, transformation, and change has impacted and changed countless lives all around the world.

We ran a week-long birthday campaign to celebrate our impact

We have conducted 385,000+ sight-restoring surgeries

736,549 children’s screenings

2050 surgeries for at-risk children.

Or empowering 575+ women through technical training.

It is an impact that I do not think my father and CBI’s founder, Dr. Suresh Chandra, ever imagined we would have created.

Here at CBI, we always strive to focus on the personal journey stories of patients with our stakeholders.

By doing so, we are able to stay focused on our purpose. By sharing stories, we can motivate more people to make a large ripple of change.
