Because, sometimes, the best chapters of our story start with an unexpected change.

Dearest Darling Friends,

Remember that old saying about life being a journey, not a destination?

Well, here's the thing – it's more like a road trip where your GPS keeps rerouting you.

Let's face it – change can feel like someone replaced your comfortable memory foam mattress with a bed of bricks. Uncomfortable? Yes. But here's the thing: without change, we would all still be living in caves, hunting mammoths, using rocks as pillows, and sending messages through pigeons.

Think of life as a road trip. Cruising down the familiar highway is cozy – you know every fast-food stop and exactly where that sneaky speed camera lurks. But what happens when construction forces you to take a detour? That's life throwing a twist your way.

  • Some people see the ‘Road Closed’ sign and park their car indefinitely, making a home in the emergency lane.?
  • Others throw their GPS out the window and have a full-blown meltdown worthy of a viral dashboard camera video.?
  • But the clever travelers? They treat it like an unexpected adventure – maybe that detour leads to a joint serving the best misal pav this side of heaven.

Change is basically like having a personal trainer who keeps adding weights when you comfortable doing the current set. Annoying? Perhaps. Necessary for growth? Absolutely.

The secret sauce to handling change is to simply shifting my perspective from "Why is this happening to me?" to "What's this teaching me?"

Maybe that job loss is actually my ticket to starting that ice cream business I have been dreaming about.

Perhaps that relationship ending is making space for someone who actually enjoys my PJs.

Butterflies have to embrace a pretty dramatic change. One day they're munching on leaves, living their best caterpillar life, and the next they're literally turning into soup inside a chrysalis before emerging with wings. If they can handle that level of transformation, I too can.

Resistance to change is like trying to drive with parking brake on. We are making things harder than they need to be, burning unnecessary fuel, and create concerning smoke signals. Release that brake, and suddenly we will be cruising!

Our destination – whether it's a dream job, a healthier lifestyle, a great relationship, learning a new skill – is on the other side of change.

The beauty is, once we embrace change as our trusty co-pilot, the journey becomes less about surviving and more about thriving. We will start seeing obstacles as interesting plot twists in our story rather than distressing plans by an enemy agent.

So, the next time change comes knocking, let’s not pretend that we are not at home. Let us open the door, offer it a cup of coffee, and ask, "What's the plot twist today?" Because sometimes the best chapters of our story start with an unexpected change.

?

With love, prayers and best wishes,

Fantastic! It's not easy to break the stereotype and embrace changes, especially when others still expect you to be like before or keep reminding you of the things that you will be missing. Very well conveyed message.Especially, Loved your use of analogies like bed of rocks, driving with brakes on. Keep inspiring!

Change is never easy, but it’s often the twist that leads to the best parts of our story.

Thank you so much Naren. This message could not be better timed. So apt for what is happening now. What's the plot twist today? this line has made me think so much, but with a smile. Love you so much for such wonderful message and as always, the guidance.
