This past 12 months I have seen a huge rise in clients who want professional photographs of their pets. I've put this down to the fact that people are treating their dogs as family members more and more.
The rise of dog friendly pubs, restaurants & hotels is testiment to this and I have seen a surge in dog product companies launched in the last few years.
And, I'm loving it. Having four hounds myself it's fantastic that I can take them to more places and I can treat them to luxury products from beds to collars. The only set back I have found is that quite a few dog friendly accomodations specify "1 small dog" only. I think Europe are way ahead of us in this respect but we are catching on; people are tending to have 2+ dogs now and the rest of the industries need to catch on to this fact.
