BEC? Project (Balsa - Experimental - Crystallization): The salt of the future.

Why BEC??

Every era of humanity can be symbolised, characterised and defined by something singular, something incredibly simple. The absence of which would make life as we know it all but impossible.?

In a by gone age, communities recognised salt as a requirement for life. It was used to preserve food and thus sustain life. So important was this substance, it was used as a form of currency giving rise to the word salary. We believe and recognise that the 21st century is defined by advances in science, technology and innovation, always looking for sustainability.?

BEC? Project is intended to contribute a grain of salt to science, for this, Hnos. úbeda GoldSal S.L., will develop new uses in a traditional salt-pans, in which actions will be carried out for the study and development of new evaporation methodologies, in which the saturation of brines will be analyzed, and thus be able to determine which process is more feasible.

BEC? Innovation?is the change that introduces new features, and that refers to modifying existing elements in order to improve them, although the implementation of totally new elements is also possible.

BEC? Technology?is the set of systematic actions whose destination is the application of science for resolution the main problems of the Salt-pans, that will allow us to design, create, facilitate and efficiently solve in a sustainable way the growing needs of mining exploitation. With the adaptation of these technologies to the environment without causing a depletion or degradation of material resources and energy.

This project will include different experimental models, where brine crystallization rafts will be taken, rafts that will only be for the exclusive use of scientific research, in which a specific crystallization environment will be created, to reduce evaporation time. With the innovation of this project, a production of salt will be sought 365 days, this will motivate the acquisition and dissemination of scientific knowledge.
